No. Elec-2020/IR-II/PSCE/Hol/14103.— Whereas the General Elections of the seat of President and Members of all the wards of Municipal Council Rewari, Municipal Committee, Sampla (Rohtak), Dharuhera (Rewari) & Ukalana (Hisar) and Bye-election of W. No. 07 of Municipal Committee, Indri (Karnal), W. No. 13 of Bhuna (Fatehabad), W. No. 12 of Rajound (Kaithal), W. No. 14 of Municipal Council, Fatehabad and W. No. 29 of Municipal Council, Sirsa for which poll shall be held on 27.12.2020 (Sunday), as per notifications of the State Election Commission, Haryana issued vide notification No. SEC/1ME/2020/3184 dated 03.12.2020.
And whereas, it is considered necessary to provide opportunity to the public to exercise their franchise.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso of Sub-section (I) of Section-10 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act 15 of 1958) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana hereby fixes "Sunday" the 27.12.2020 to be close day (Holiday) for all Shops and Commercial Establishments falling in the above mentioned jurisdiction of President and Members of all the wards of Municipal Council, Rewari, Municipal Committee, Sampla (Rohtak), Dharuhera (Rewari) & Uklana (Hisar) and Bye-election of W. No. 07 of Municipal Committee, Indri (Karnal), W. No. 13 of Bhuna (Fatehabad), W. No. 12 of Rajound (Kaithal), W. No. 14 of Municipal Council, Fatehabad and W. No. 29 of Municipal Council, Sirsa where the general election is going to be held on 27.12.2020 (Sunday) as per notification of State Election Commission as mentioned above.
