No. 1007-Agri.II-(1)-2021/6954.— The Governor of Haryana is pleased to constitute State Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) for implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) & Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (RWBCIS) and other schemes based on crop insurance as required under the Revamped Operational modalities of the scheme:-

1. The STAC shall review all technical matters related to the execution of the scheme.
2. STAC shall deliberate and examine the subject matter and indicate their views/decisions based on statistical/technological inputs and other related scientific and technical parameters and detailed on SOP.
3. The Headquarter of the committee will be at Panchkula.
4. The term of the committee will be three years.
5. The committee will observed various types of yield disputes, leading to unnecessarily delay in the claim settlement etc.
6. The committee shall meet at least once in six months or twice in a year.
7. All official members of the committee will draw their TA/DA from their respective departments/ organizations.
