संख्या 52/71/2021-2क1.- चूंकि, हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 (1973 का 24) की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (5) तथा हरियाणा नगरपालिका निर्वाचन नियम, 1978 के नियम 70क के उपबन्धोंेंं के अनुसार निदेषक, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा तथा सम्बन्धित उपायुक्तों या उनके नाम निदेषितियों सेे मिलकर बनने वाली समिति की दिनांक 22 जून, 2021 को हुई बैठक में चक्रानुक्रम तथा ड्रा आफ लॉट द्वारा अवधारित किया गया कि नगर पालिकाओं के अध्यक्ष के पद, नीचे दी गई अनुसूची I, II तथा III में यथा वर्णित सामान्य वर्ग, अनुसूचित जाति, पिछडे़ वर्ग तथा महिलाओं से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जायेंगे,
इसलिये, अब, हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 (1973 का 24) की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (8) द्वारा प्रदा शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा इस निमिा पूर्व में जारी की गई सभी अधिसूचनाओं के अधिक्रमण मेें, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, विनिर्दिष्ट करते हैं कि नगरपालिकाओं में अध्यक्ष के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूची I, II तथा III में यथा वर्णित विभिन्न प्रवर्गों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जायेंगे।
अनुसूची- I
09 (नौ) नगरपालिकाओं के नाम, जहां अध्यक्ष का पद अनुसूचित जाति प्रवर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. पलवल 2. सिरसा 3. फतेहाबाद 4. राजौन्द 5. असन्ध 6. ऐलनाबाद 7. सोहना 8. चीका 9. महम
इन नगरपालिकाओं में से निम्नलिखित नगरपालिकाओं के अध्यक्ष का पद अनुसूचित जाति प्रवर्ग की महिला सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. सोहना 2. चीका 3. महम
अनुसूची- II
04 (चार) नगरपालिकाओं के नाम, जहां अध्यक्ष का पद पिछडे़ वर्ग प्रवर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. झज्जर 2. बावल 3. बहादुरगढ़ 4. नांगल चौधरी इन नगरपालिकाओं में से निम्नलिखित नगरपालिकाओं के अध्यक्ष का पद पिछडे़ वर्ग प्रवर्ग की महिला सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. बहादुरगढ़ 2. नांगल चौधरी

अनुसूची- III
32 (बाीस) नगरपालिकाओं के नाम, जहां अध्यक्ष का पद सामान्य प्रवर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. हांसी 2. गोहाना 3. नूंह 4. उचाना 5. लाडवा 6. टोहाना 7. होडल 8. मण्डी डबवाली 9. भूना 10. बरवाला 11. निसिंग 12. चरखी दादरी 13. रानियां 14. तरावड़ी 15. पुन्हाना 16. फिरोजपुर झिरका 17. गन्नौर 18. घरौण्डा 19. पिहोवा 20. महेन्द्रगढ़ 21. समालखा 22. षाहाबाद 23. नारनौल 24. नरवाना 25. कैथल 26. जीन्द 27. थानेसर 28. भिवानी 29. रतिया 30. कालांवाली 31. नारायणगढ़ 32. सफीदों इन नगरपालिकाओं में से निम्नलिखित नगरपालिकाओं में अध्यक्ष का पद महिला सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. नारनौल 2. नरवाना 3. कैथल 4. जीन्द 5. थानेसर 6. भिवानी 7. रतिया 8. कालांवाली 9. नारायणगढ़ 10. सफीदों

Notification

No. 52/71/2021-2C1.— Whereas in term of sub-section (5) of section 10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and rule-70A of the Haryana Municipal Elections Rules, 1978, the committee consisting of Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana and the Deputy Commissioners concerned or their nominees in its meeting held on 22nd June, 2021 determined through rotation and draw of lots that the office of the President of the municipalities shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to General Category, Scheduled Caste, Backward Classes and Women as mentioned below in Schedule I, II and III.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (8) of section 10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and in supersession of all previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies that the office of the President in the Municipalities shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to various categories as mentioned below in Schedule I, II and III.
Schedule-I
Names of 09 (nine) municipalities where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Caste Category:–
1. Palwal 2. Sirsa 3. Fatehabad 4. Rajound 5. Assandh 6. Ellenabad 7. Sohna 8. Cheeka 9. Meham
Out of these municipalities, the office of President of the following municipalities shall be filled up from the Women of Scheduled Caste Category:–
1. Sohna 2. Cheeka 3. Meham
Schedule-II
Names of 04 (four) municipalities where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Backward Classes category :–
