No. Leg.30/2021.— The following Ordinance of the Governor of Haryana promulgated under clause (1) of article 213 of the Constitution of India, on the 23rd November, 2021 is hereby published for general information:–

THE HARYANA POND AND WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
(AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2021
AN
ORDINANCE
further to amend the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority Act, 2018.
Promulgated by the Governor of Haryana in the Seventy-second Year of the Republic of India.
Whereas the Legislature of the State of Haryana is not in session and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby promulgates the following Ordinance:–
Short title.
1. This Ordinance may be called the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021.
2. For sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority Act, 2018, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:-
Amendment of section 4 of Haryana Act 33 of 2018.
―(1) The tenure, salaries, allowances and other conditions of the service of the Executive Vice-Chairperson, Technical Advisor and Member Secretary shall be such, as may be prescribed:
Provided that the Executive Vice-Chairperson, Technical Advisor and
Member Secretary shall not hold office beyond the age of sixty-five years:
Provided further that the Government may extend the tenure of Executive Vice-Chairperson, Technical Advisor and Member Secretary upto the age of sixty-eight years by recording reasons for the same.‖.
