Notification
The 24th November, 2021
No. 52/76/2021-2CI.— The following draft of the rules further to amend the Municipal Account Code, 1930, in its application to the State of Haryana which the Governor of Haryana proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 257 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973), is hereby published as required by Sub-section (5) of Section 257 of the said Act, for the information of persons likely to be affected thereby.
Notice is hereby given that the draft of rules shall be taken into consideration by the State Government on or after the expiry of a period of ten days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, together with objections or suggestions, if any, which may be received by the Principal Secretary to Government, Haryana, Urban Local Bodies Department, Chandigarh, from any person with respect to the draft of rules before the expiry of the period so specified.
Draft Rules
1. These rules may be called the Municipal Account (Haryana Amendment) Code, 2021.
2. In the Municipal Account Code, 1930, after rule XIII. 2, the followingrule shall be inserted, namely:-
"XIII.2A. Applicability of Haryana Engineering Works Portal (HEWP).-Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any provisions of this Code, Haryana Engineering Works Portal (HEWP) developed by Government of Haryana with all relevant provisions shall be applicable to all municipalities as per the guidelines, instructions and rules of the Government issued from time to time under this Code."
