Notification
The 24th March, 2022
No. 16/14/2022-2IE.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Services of Engineers, Class-II, Public Works Department (Irrigation Branch) Rules, 1970, namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Haryana Services of Engineers, Class-II, Public Works Department (Irrigation Branch) Rules, 1970 (11th Amendment) Rules, 2022.
2. The Rule-8, sub Rule-1 of the said rules shall be substituted as under:-
"No person shall be appointed to any post in the Service by direct recruitment whose age is less than eighteen years or more than forty-two years on the last date of submission of application to the Commission.
Further, the upper age limit is relaxable as per instructions issued by Haryana Government from time to time in favour of candidates belonging to reserved categories of SC/BC/ESM and Divyang etc of Haryana".
3. This amendment shall be applicable with immediate effect.
