Notification
The 20th May, 2022
No. 52/12/2021-5C1.— In compliance of the order dated the 10th May, 2022 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Original Jurisdiction Writ Petition (Civil) No. 278 of 2022 titled as Suresh Mahajan Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & another and in partial modification of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department notification No. 52/12/2021-5C1, dated 17.05.2021, the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies that the seats of the Municipal Council, Jind District Jind amongst 31 wards for the purpose of election of members in the said municipality shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to various categories, namely:–
Out of 31 wards, 05 wards viz, ward numbers 01, 10, 23, 29 and 30 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes, out of which ward numbers 10 & 23 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes Women. Ward numbers 02, 03, 04, 05, 09, 14, 17, 22 & 27 shall be reserved for Women.
