The 20th May, 2022
No. 52/48/2021-2C1.— In compliance of the order dated the 10th May, 2022 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Original Jurisdiction Writ Petition (Civil) No. 278 of 2022 titled as Suresh Mahajan Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & another and in partial modification of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department notification No. 52/48/2021-2C1 dated the 13th July, 2021, the Governor of Haryana, hereby specifies that the office of the President in the municipalities shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to following categories as mentioned below in Schedule I and II, namely:-
Schedule-I
Name of 01 Municipality where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Caste Woman:-
1. Kundli
Schedule-II
Names of 05 municipalities where offices of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to General Category:-
1. Kalka 2. Ambala Sadar 3. Sisai 4. Sadhaura
5. Ismailabad
Out of these municipalities, the offices of President of the following Municipal Committees shall be filled up from the Women:-
1. Sadhaura 2. Ismailabad
