The 9th June, 2022
No. 28/01/2006-3GSII.— The State Election Commission, Haryana has fixed the 19 June, 2022, as the day of Poll for General Election for the seats of President and Members of all wards of 28 Municipal Committees and 18 Municipal Councils (list attached as Annexure-A). Therefore, State Government has decided that Sunday, 19 June, 2022 shall be observed as a public holiday in the offices of all Departments/Boards/Corporations/Educational Institutions under the Haryana Government and in all factories, commercial establishments, shops etc. falling within the jurisdiction of all above wards of Municipal Committees/Municipal Councils to enable the employees of Government offices and various factories, commercial establishments industrial undertakings, trade, shops etc. to cast their votes.
