No. Steno/DHS(D)-RO/2022/10.—In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (a) of section 19 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, the Governor of Haryana, notifies Notice of Election of Six members to the Haryana State Pharmacy Council:

Election of Six members of the Haryana State Pharmacy Council.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Rule 5, of the Rules and Regulations of the Haryana State Pharmacy Council that the election of Six members of the Haryana State Pharmacy Council to serve for the prescribed period; is to be held.
Nominations of eligible persons to fill the six vacancies are invited.
Each candidate must be nominated by a separate nomination paper, but any person entitled to vote at the election, may sign the nomination paper of any number of Candidates not exceeding the number to be elected and for which he is entitled to vote.
Every nomination paper must be in the Form B to Rule 6 (3) giving all the details required therein.
The nomination paper must reach the undersigned not later than 31st day of August, 2022 from whom forms of nomination papers may be obtained on application.

| (a) | Dates for receipt of nomination papers | Saturday to Wednesday | 27.08.2022 to 31.08.2022 in the office of Director Health Services (Dental), Haryana, Panchkula. | From 11.00 AM to 4.00 P.M. |
| (b) | Scrutiny of nomination papers | Thursday | 01.09.2022 in the office of Director Health Services (Dental), Haryana, Panchkula. | At 12.00 Noon |
| (c) | Last Date of withdrawal of candidature | Upto 3.00 PM | ||
| (d) | Declaration of candidates as elected if the number of validly nominated candidates is equal to the number of the notified vacancies (Six) | At 4.00 P.M | ||
| (e) | If number of validly nominated candidates are more than 6, then publication of notification of their names & addresses, by the Returning Officer in Official Gazette and on official web site. | At 5.00 PM | ||

Please note that the prospective candidate or their duly authorized (only one) representative may attend the process of scrutiny of nomination papers, polling and counting of votes. Security fee of Rs. 5000/- has been fixed for contesting the election which may be deposited at the time of scrutiny in the shape of demand draft in the name of Returning Officer, Haryana State Pharmacy Council payable at Panchkula.
