No. SEC/4E-II/2022/3274.— Whereas the State Election Commission, Haryana vide Notification No. SEC/4E-II/2022/3064, dated 7th October, 2022 had notified the election schedule for conduct of general elections of Panchayati Raj Institutions of 10 districts in the State including district Fatehabad. As per the schedule, polling for members of Zila Parishads and Panchayat Samitis is scheduled to be held on 30.10.2022 and polling for Sarpnches and Panches of Gram Panchayat is scheduled to be held on 02.11.2022.

2. Whereas the Director General of Police, Haryana vide his letter No.15623/L&O-3, dated 07.10.2022 has informed that the bye elections for Adampur Assembly Constituency is scheduled to be held on 03.11.2022. He has further informed that Adampur Assembly Constituency has long borders with Fatehabad district and hence holding of Panchayat elections in Fatehabad district on these dates will create operational difficulties for Police and Administration and it will also be difficult to deploy Police personnel there because of Adampur bye election.
