संख्या 12/246-2021-पुरा/3090.— चूंकि, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल की राय है कि नीचे दी गई अनुसूची के खाना 1 में विनिर्दिष्ट पुरातत्वीय स्थलों तथा अवषेषों तथा प्राचीन तथा ऐतिहासिक संस्मारकों का हरियाणाा प्राचीन तथा ऐतिहासिक संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल तथा अवषेष अधिनियम, 1964 (1964 का पंजाब अधिनियम 20), के अधीन संरक्षण अपेक्षित है;
इसलिए, अब, हरियाणा प्राचीन तथा ऐतिहासिक संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल तथा अवषेष अधिनियम, 1964 (1964 का पंजाब अधिनियम 20), की धारा 4 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त षक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, नीचे दी गई अनुसूची के खाना 1 में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन तथा ऐतिहासिक संस्मारक को संरक्षित संस्मारक के रूप में तथा उक्त अनुसूची के खाना 2, 3, 4, 5 तथा 6 में विनिर्दिष्ट पुरातत्वीय स्थलाें और अवषेषों को संरक्षित क्षेत्र के रूप में घोषित करने का प्रस्ताव करते हैं।
इसके द्वारा नोटिस दिया जाता है कि इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाषन की तिथि से दो मास की अवधि की समाप्ति पर या उसके पष्चात् सरकार, ऐसे आक्षेपों या सुझावों यदि कोई हो, सहित, जो अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव, हरियाणा सरकार, पुरातत्व तथा संग्रहालय विभाग, चण्डीगढ़ द्वारा/ प्रस्ताव के सम्बन्ध में किसी व्यक्ति से इस प्रकार विर्निर्दिष्ट अवधि की समाप्ति से पूर्व प्राप्त किए जायें, पर विचार करेगी।

ARCHAEOLOGY AND MUSEUMS DEPARTMENT
Notification
The 11th October, 2022
No. 12/246-2021-Pura/3090.— Whereas the Governor of Haryana is of the opinion that archaeological sites and remains and ancient and historical monuments specified in column 1 of the Schedule given below require protection under the Haryana Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1964 (Punjab Act 20 of 1964);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Haryana ancient and historical monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1964 (Punjab Act 20 of 1964), the Governor of Haryana hereby proposes to declare the ancient and historical monuments specified in column 1 of the Schedule given below, to be protected monuments and the archaeological sites and remains specified in columns 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the said Schedule to be protected area.
Notice is hereby given that the proposal shall be taken into consideration by the Government on or after the expiry of a period of two months from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, together with objections or suggestions, if any, which may be received by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Archaeology and Museums Department, Chandigarh from any person with respect to the proposal before the expiry of the period so specified:-
