No. 9/43/2022-3CII.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section-9, Sub-section (1), (2), (3), (4), (7) and (8) of Section-10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (Act 24 of 1973) and Rule 7 of the Haryana Municipal Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1977, the Governor of Haryana, in continuation of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department Notification No. 9/43/2022-3CII, dated 12th September, 2022 and in pursuance of the provisions of Rule 10 of the Haryana Municipal Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1977, hereby allots the seats of theMunicipal Council,Sirsa, District–Sirsa amongst 31 wards for the purpose of election of members in the said municipality as follows:-
Out of 31wards, 07wards viz, ward numbers 01, 05, 21, 26, 27, 29 and 31 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes, out of which ward numbers 01, 21 and 26 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes Women. Ward numbers 04, 06, 08, 11, 13, 17, 22 and 30 shall be reserved for the Women.
