No. Elec-2022/IR-II/PSCE/Hol/33996.— Whereas, the Bye-Election to Legislative Assembly of 47-Adampur Assembly Constituency, 2022 (District Hisar), so for which poll shall be held on 03.11.2022 (Thursday), as per letter No. 333(41) /Paid Holiday/Ele-2022/2AE- 4583 Dated 11.10.2022 issued by Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana.
And whereas, it is considered necessary to provide opportunity to all the workers/employees working in all Shops and Commercial Establishments to exercise their franchise.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act 15 of 1958) and all other enabling powers, the Governor of Haryana hereby fixes "Thursday" the 03.11.2022 to be the holiday with wages for all the workers/employees enrolled as voters in 47-Adampur Assembly Constituency, 2022 working in all the shops and commercial establishments within the State of Haryana to enable them to cast their votes.
