Notification
The 2nd February, 2023
No. 22/72/2022-1T-(1) .— The Governor of Haryana is pleased to nominate the Chairperson and Members of District Level Committee constituted under the Compensation to Victims of Hit and Run Motor Accidents Scheme, 2022 issued vide Notification GSR 163(E) dated 25.02.2022 of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi, as under:

| 1 | Chairperson and Claims Settlement Commissioner | Deputy Commissioner of the District or where authorized by the Deputy Commissioner, the Additional Deputy Commissioner in addition. |
| 2 | Claims Enquiry Officer | Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) of the area. |
| 3 | Member | Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarter) or their authorized representative not below the rank of DSP/ACP. |
| 4 | Member | Chief Medical Officer of the district or his authorized representative not below the rank of Senior Medical Officer. |
| 5 | Member | DTO-cum-Secretary, Regional Transport Authority of the district. |
| 6 | Member Secretary | An officer nominated by the General Insurance Council. In case no such officer is nominated the DTO-cum-Secretary, Regional Transport Authority of the district shall function as Member Secretary. |
All the officers shall be ex-officio members by virtue of posting and shall have the powers and functions of District Level Committee as provided in clause 13 of the Compensation to Victims of Hit and Run Motor Accidents Scheme, 2022 as notified by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, vide GSR163(E) dated 25.02.2022.
