संख्या 4499.— हरियाणा विधान सभा (सदस्य वेतन, भत्ता तथा पेंषन) अधिनियम, 1975 (1975 का 2) की धारा 9 की उप-धारा (2) के साथ पठित उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, अध्यक्ष, हरियाणा विधान सभा (सदस्य भत्ता) नियम, 1976 को आगे संषोधित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :-
1. ये नियम हरियाणा विधान सभा (सदस्य भत्ता) नियम, 2023 कहे जा सकते हैं।
2. हरियाणा विधान सभा (सदस्य भत्ता) नियम, 1976 (जिन्हें, इसमें, इसके बाद उक्त नियम कहा गया है) में, नियम 9 में, उपनियम (1) में, खण्ड (ख) में, ''और इसके अतिरिक्त 20,000/- रूपए (बीस हजार रूपए) प्रति मास की राषि, चालक भत्ता के रूप में'' शब्दों, अंकों तथा चिह्न को लोप कर दिया जाएगा।
3. उक्त नियमों में, नियम 11ड़ में, ''पन्द्रह'' के स्थान पर, ''बीस'' शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा।
4. उक्त नियमों में, नियम 11ड़ के बाद, निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्ः-
''11च. चालक भत्ता.- सदस्य, प्रति मास बीस हजार रूपए की दर से चालक भत्ते के लिए पात्र होगा, जिसे हरियाणा विधान सभा सचिवालय, सदस्य द्वारा चालक के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए, अनुसूची IX के अनुसार सचिवालय को अधिसूचित किए जाने वाले व्यक्ति के खाते में सीधे ही जमा कर सकता हैः
परन्तु सदस्य द्वारा इस प्रकार अधिसूचित व्यक्ति, सदस्य की मर्ज़ी से उसकी सहायता करना जारी रखेगा।''। 5. उक्त नियमों में, अनुसूची VIII के बाद निम्नलिखित अनुसूची जोड़ी जाएगी, अर्थात् :-

Notification
The 14th March, 2023
No. 4499.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of section 9 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly (Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members) Act, 1975 (2 of 1975), the Speaker, Haryana Legislative Assembly hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Rules, 1976, namely:-
1. These rule may be called the Haryana Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Amendment Rules, 2023.
2. In the Haryana Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Rules, 1976 (hereinafter called the said rules), in rule 9, in sub-rule (1), in clause (b), the words, figure and sign "and in addition thereof a sum of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand rupees) per month as driver allowance" shall be omitted.
3. In the said rules, in rule 11E, for the word "fifteen", the word "twenty" shall be substituted.
4. In the said rules, after rule 11E, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-
"11F. Driver allowance.- A member shall be entitled to driver allowance at the rate of twenty thousand rupees per month with the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Secretariat may directly credit to the account of person to be notified by the member to the Secretariat as per Schedule-IX to work as his Driver:
Provided that the person so notified by the member shall continue to render assistance to the member at his pleasure.".
5. In the said rules, after Schedule-VIII, the following Schedule shall be added, namely:-
