Notification

No 401(CFMS)-AH-4-2023/1666— In supersession of Notification No. 3489(CFMS)-AH-4-2019/7928, dated 01.08.2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 4(1) of the Haryana Animal (Registration, Certification and Breeding) Act, 2019, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to constitute the Animal Certification Authority for certification of animals under and appoint the following as its members:-
| 1 | Head of Animal Genetics and Breeding Department, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar | Chairperson |
| 2 | One expert from Livestock Production Management, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar. Or An expert representative of Director General, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department, Haryana with at least 15 years experience not below the rank of Sub Divisional Engineer or Deputy Director nominated by him. | Member |
| 3 | Veterinary Surgeon working at Haryana Livestock Development Board, Panchkula | Member |
| 4 | Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department, Haryana, Panchkula | Member Secretary |
Functions:-
(a) Certification of animals as per Section 8 of the Act;
(b) Certification of male animals as per Section 15 of the Act
