संख्या 4/36/2023-2क I.- हरियाणा नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का 16) की धारा 32 की उप-धारा (1) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग, हरियाणा के परामर्ष से, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, हरियाणा नगर निगम वार्ड परिसीमन नियम, 1994 को आगे संषोधित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्‌ः-

1. ये नियम हरियाणा नगर निगम वार्ड परिसीमन (द्वितीय संषोधन) नियम, 2023 कहे जा सकते हैं।

2. हरियाणा नगर निगम वार्ड परिसीमन नियम, 1994 में, नियम 3 में, उप-नियम (3) के बाद, निम्नलिखित व्याख्या जोड़ी जायेगी, अर्थात्‌ :-

'व्याख्याः- उप-नियम (3) के प्रयोजन हेतु, "जनसंख्या" से अभिप्राय है, अन्तिम पूर्ववर्ती जनगणना, जिसके सुसंगत आंकड़े प्रकाषित किए गए हैं, पर सुनिष्चित की गई जनसंख्या।'।

Notification

The 16th June, 2023

No. 4/36/2023-2CI.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section (1) of Section 32 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) and in consultation with State Election Commission, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994, namely:-

1. These rules may called the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023.

2. In the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994, in rule 3, after sub-rule (3), the following explanation shall be added, namely:-

'Explanation.- For the purpose of sub-rule (3) "population" means the population as ascertained at the last

preceding census of which the relevant figures have been published.'.
