No. 2/3/2022-2HC.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause(s) of section 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) and in modification/amendment of the Haryana Government Notification No. 16/29/2010-4HG-1, dated 22.11.2011 and No.16/29/2010-4HG-1, dated 27.12.2011 as well as in terms of State Government's Notification No. 2/3/2022-2HC, dated 16th March, 2023, the Governor of Haryana hereby declares that 8 Police stations created for Irrigation Department and Power Department at Ambala, Karnal, Rohtak, Jind, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad and Hisar vide the aforesaid notifications are hereby re-designated as 'Haryana State Enforcement Bureau Police Stations' and shall function under the Bureau.

The 'Haryana State Enforcement Bureau Police Stations' shall have power to investigate the following offences as per statute, namely:-

(a) Offences punishable under sections 379, 430 and 431 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Act 43 of 1860);

(b) Offences punishable under sections 135 to 141 and 150 of Electricity Act, 2003 (Act 36 of 2003).

(c) Offences under section 21 of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and section 104 of Haryana Minor Mineral Concession, Stocking and Transportation of Minerals, and Prevention of Illegal Mining Rules, 2012.

(d) Offences under section(s) 177, 177A, 178(1), 178(2), 178(3), 179 (1), 179(2), 180, 181, 182(1), 182(2), 182A(1), 182A(2), 182A(3), 182A(4), 182B, 183(1), 183(2), 184, 184(A), 184(B), 184(C), 184(D), 184(E), 184(F), 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 190(1)(a), 190(1)(b), 190(2), 190(3), 192, 192(A), 192B(2), 192B(3), 192B(4), 193(B)(1), 194(1), 194(1)A, 194(2), 194(A), 194B(1), 194B(2) 194C, 194D, 194E, 194F(A), 194F(B), 196, 197, 198, 198(A)(2), 199A(2) and 201 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

(e) Offences under section(s) 61(I), 63, 68A, 72A(a & b) of Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (as applicable to Haryana). (1673) 1674 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), JUNE 30, 2023 (ASAR. 9, 1945 SAKA)

(f) Offences under section(s) 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 12A and 12B of The Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Act, 1963.

(g) Offences under section(s) 10, 11, 11A, 11B and 12A of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.

(h) Offences under section(s) 12A, 12B and 12C of the Punjab New (Capital) Periphery Control Act, 1952.
