संख्या 53/जीएसटी-2.— हरियाणा माल और सेवा कर अधिनियम, 2017 (2017 का 19) की धारा 9 की उप-धारा (1) और धारा 15 की उप-धारा (5) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, परिषद् की सिफारिषों पर, इसके द्वारा, हरियाणा सरकार, आबकारी तथा कराधान विभाग, अधिसूचना संख्या 35/एसटी-2, दिनांक 30 जून, 2017 में, निम्नलिखित संषोधन करते हैं, अर्थात्ः-
संषोधन
हरियाणा सरकार, आबकारी तथा कराधान विभाग, अधिसूचना संख्या 35/एसटी-2, दिनांक 30 जून, 2017 में,- (i) अनुसूची IV- में,
(क) क्रम संख्या 227 और उसके सामने प्रविष्टियों के बाद, निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और उसके सामने प्रविष्टियाँ रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात् -

| ''227क | कोई भी अध्याय | विनिर्दिष्ट अनुयोज्य दावे; व्याख्याः हरियाणा माल तथा सेवा कर अधिनियम, 2017 (2017 का 19) की धारा 2 (102क) में यथा परिभाषित "विनिर्दिष्ट अनुयोज्य दावे" से अभिप्राय है, (i) दांव लगाने; (ii) कैसिनो; (iii) द्यूतक्रीड़ा; (iv) घुडदौड; (v) लाटरी; या (vi) ऑनलाइन धनीय गेम खेलने, में अंतर्वलित या उनके माध्यम से अनुयोज्य दावा ;"; |
(ख) क्रम संख्या 228 और 229 और उसके सामने प्रविष्टियों का लोप कर दिया जाएगा;
(ii) व्याख्या में, खंड (iv) के पश्चात्, निम्नलिखित खंड रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्ः-
"(v) इस अधिसूचना में जो शब्द प्रयुक्त और परिभाषित नहीं किए गए हैं, किंतु हरियाणा माल और सेवा कर अधिनियम, 2017 (2017 का 19) और एकी—त माल और सेवा कर अधिनियम, 2017 (2017 का केन्द्रीय अधिनियम 13) में परिभाषित किए गए हैं, उन शब्दों और अभिव्यक्तियों के वही अर्थ होंगे, जो उन अधिनियमों में उन्हें दिए गए हैं।"।
2. यह अधिसूचना प्रथम अक्तूबर, 2023 से लागू होगी।

Notification
The 30th September, 2023
No. 53/GST-2.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (19 of 2017), the Governor of Haryana, on the recommendations of the Council hereby makes the following amendments in the Haryana Government, Excise and Taxation Department, notification No. 35/ST-2, dated the 30th June, 2017, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the Haryana Government, Excise and Taxation Department, notification No. 35/ST-2, dated the 30th June, 2017, -
(i) in Schedule IV-
(a) after serial number 227 and the entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries

| "227A | Any Chapter | Specified actionable claim; Explanation: "specified actionable claim" as defined in section 2 (102A) of the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (19 of 2017) means the actionable claim involved in or by way of— (i) betting; (ii) casinos; (iii) gambling; (iv) horse racing; (v) lottery; or (vi) online money gaming;"; |
(b) Serial numbers 228 and 229 and entries thereagainst shall be omitted;
(ii) in the Explanation, after clause (iv), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
"(v) The words and expressions used and not defined in this notification, but defined in the Haryana Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (19 of 2017) and the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Central Act 13 of 2017), shall have the same meanings as assigned to them in those Acts.".
2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 2023.
