Notification

No. 46/12/2018-5HBII.— The Governor of Haryana is pleased to merge Laboratory Technician (Malaria) and Laboratory Technician (General) cadres of Health Department, Haryana w.e.f. 23rd May, 2022 on the following terms and conditions:-
1. Laboratory Technician (Malaria) cadre is upgraded at par with Laboratory Technician (General) from FPL-4 (2400) to FPL-6 (4200) w.e.f. 23.05.2022 as per concurrence of Finance Department, Haryana conveyed vide U.O. No. 6/50/2021-4PR(FD)/6575, 7989 dated 12.05.2022.
2. After merger, nomenclature of the cadre will be Laboratory Technician (General).
3. The combined cadre will be governed by Haryana Health Department Laboratory Technician (Group-C) Service Rules 1998 as amended from time to time.
4. After merger, combined seniority list will be prepared by the Health Department and Laboratory Technician (Malaria) cadre employees will be appended at the bottom of the seniority of Laboratory Technician (General) recruited in the year 2010.
5. The strength of Laboratory Technician cadre will be as per latest norms fixed by Government for various Health Institutions. 44 posts of Laboratory Technicians sanctioned in all the offices of Deputy Civil Surgeon (Malaria) and 13 posts sanctioned at Head-quarter (Malaria) shall be part of the total strength of Laboratory Technician cadre.
