No. 3/3/2005-1/E.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section (1) of Section 85 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Act 57 of 2003), the Governor of Haryana is pleased to constitute a Selection Committee comprising the following for making recommendations for appointment of Chairman, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission which has fallen vacant on 22.10.2023 on completion of the term of incumbent Chairman (as per second proviso to sub section (1) of section 89):-

Secretarial assistance will be provided by the Secretary/Energy, Government of Haryana.
