No. Leg. 2/2024.— The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 28th December, 2023 and is hereby published for general information:-

HARYANA ACT NO. 2 OF 2024

THE HARYANA APPROPRIATION (NO. 6) BILL, 2023

ACT

to provide for the authorization of appropriation of money out of the

Consolidated Fund of the State of Haryana to meet the amount

spent on certain services during the financial years

2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 in

excess of the amount authorized

or granted for these services

during these years.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Seventy-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. This Act may be called the Haryana Appropriation (No. 6) Act, 2023. Short title.

Issue of ₹ 153,39,29,460/- , ₹ 21,92,63,603/- , and ₹ 63,47,10,246/- out of Consolidated Fund of State of Haryana to meet certain expenditure during the years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Haryana, the sums specified in column 6 of the Schedule appended to this Act, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of One Hundred Fifty-Three Crore, Thirty-Nine Lakh, Twenty-Nine Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty rupees only (₹153,39,29,460/-), Twenty-One Crore, Ninety-Two Lakh, Sixty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Three rupees only (₹ 21,92,63,603/-) and Sixty-Three Crore, Forty-Seven Lakh, Ten Thousand, Two Hundred Forty-Six rupees only (₹63,47,10,246/-) shall be deemed to have been authorized to be paid and applied to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the said Schedule during the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 respectively, in excess of the amount authorized or granted for these services during these years. Appropriation. 3. The sums deemed to have been authorized to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Haryana under this Act, shall be deemed to have been appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22. 10 HARYANA GOVT.
