Notification
The 8th February, 2024
No. CGEH/02/2024/81.— Whereas schedule for the general election of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras Management Committee was issued vide this office notification No. CGEH/02/2024/70 dated 07th February, 2024. However, the Director Secondary Education, Haryana vide his memo No. 20/6-2020ACD(15) dated 08th February, 2024 has informed that CBSE annual examinations of classes 10th and 12th are scheduled to start from 15th February, 2024 and will continue till 2nd April, 2024 similarly Haryana School Education Board annual examination of classes 10th and 12th are scheduled to start from 27th February, 2024 and will continue till 2nd April, 2024. He has also informed that more annual examinations of other classes are also scheduled in above stated time schedule. He has further requested to reschedule the elections of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras Management Committee after the completion of board exams.
2. In view of above, while exercising the powers conferred upon me under sub section (1) of section 13 of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras (Management) Act, 2014, read with sub rule (3) of rule 17 of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras Management Committee (Delimitation of Wards and Election) Rules, 2023, I, Justice H.S. Bhalla, Commissioner, Gurdwara Elections, Haryana hereby withdraw the election schedule issued vide notification referred above, with immediate effect. Therefore, all activities pertaining to the elections to the Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras Management Committee shall stand withdrawn till further orders. The fresh schedule for the said elections shall be issued later on.
