Notification
The 27th November, 2024
No. SEC/4E-II/2024/1039.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification No. SEC/E-II/2023/368, dated 25.01.2023 had notified the names of Smt. Nisha Devi W/o Sh. Virender Singh as Chairman and Smt. Anjana Sharma W/o Sh. Acharu Ram as Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti Morni, District Panchkula under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.
2. And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Panchkula vide letters No. 157/Panchayat, dated 20.11.2024 and 171/Panchayat, dated 25.11.2024 has informed that in the meetings held on 13.11.2024 and 25.11.2024, "No Confidence Motion" has been passed against Smt. Nisha Devi, Chairman and Smt. Anjana Sharma, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Morni, District Panchkula respectively. He has requested to de-notify their names as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Morni respectively.
3. In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the names of Smt. Nisha Devi W/o Sh. Virender Singh and Smt. Anjana Sharma W/o Sh. Acharu Ram from the seat of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Morni, District Panchkula respectively with immediate effect.
