संख्या 6/1/2025-4क1.- चूंकि, हरियाणा नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का 16) की धारा 11 की उप-धारा (5) और (7) तथा हरियाणा नगर निगम निर्वाचन नियम, 1994 के नियम 71 के उप-नियम (7) के निबन्धनों के अनुसार निदेषक, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, सम्बन्धित मण्डल आयुक्त अथवा उनके नामनिर्देषिती तथा सम्बन्धित नगर निगमों के आयुक्तों से मिलकर बनी समिति ने दिनांक 26 दिसम्बर, 2024 को निदेषक, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा, पंचकूला के कार्यालय में हुई बैठक में जनसंख्या की अधिकतम प्रतिषतता के आधार पर और ड्रा ऑफ लॉटस के माध्यम से निर्धारित किया है कि आठ नगर निगमों के महापौर के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूची ा, ाा तथा ााा में यथा वर्णित क्रमषः अनारक्षित प्रवर्ग, अनुसूचित जाति, पिछड़े वर्ग 'क', पिछड़े वर्ग 'ख' तथा महिलाओं से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे।

इसलिए, अब, हरियाणा नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का 16) की धारा 11 की उप-धारा (8) द्वारा प्रदत्त षक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा हरियाणा सरकार, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग, अधिसूचना संख्या 18/2/2017-3क1, दिनांक 9 जनवरी, 2017 का आंषिक रूप से उपांतरण करते हुए, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, विनिर्दिष्ट करते हैं कि आठ नगर निगमों में महापौर के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूची ा, ाा तथा ााा में यथावर्णित विभिन्न प्रवर्गों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे, अर्थात्‌ः-

02 नगर निगमों के नाम, जहां महापौर के पद अनुसूचित जातियों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगेः- 1. यमुनानगर 2. रोहतक इन नगर निगमों में से नगर निगम, यमुनानगर में महापौर का पद अनुसूचित जाति से सम्बन्धित महिला से भरा जाएगा।

01 नगर निगम का नाम, जहां महापौर का पद पिछड़े वर्ग 'क' से सम्बन्धित महिला सदस्य से भरा जाएगा :- 1. गुरूग्राम

05 नगर निगमों के नाम, जहां महापौर के पद अनारक्षित प्रवर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे :- 1. फरीदाबाद 2. हिसार 3. पानीपत 4. करनाल 5. मानेसर इन नगर निगमों में से नगर निगम, फरीदाबाद में महापौर का पद महिलाओं से भरा जाएगा।विकास गुप्ता, आयुक्त एवं सचिव, हरियाणा सरकार, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग। (48) HARYANA GOVT. No. 6/1/2025-4CI.— Whereas, in terms of sub-sections (5) and (7) of section 11 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) and sub-rule (7) of rule 71 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Elections Rules, 1994, the committee consisting of the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Divisional Commissioner concerned or their nominees and Commissioners of the concerned Corporations in the meeting held on the 26th December, 2024 in the office of the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, Panchkula determined on the basis of maximum percentage of population and through draw of lots that the office of the Mayor of eight Municipal Corporations shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to unreserved category, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes 'A', Backward Classes 'B' and women as mentioned below in the Schedule I, II and III respectively.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (8) of section 11 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) and in partial modification of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department, notification No. 18/2/2017-3CI, dated the 09th January, 2017, the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies that the office of the Mayor in eight Municipal Corporations shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to various categories as mentioned below in the Schedule I, II and III, namely:-

Schedule I

Name of 02 Municipal Corporations, where office of Mayor shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Castes:-

1. Yamunanagar 2. Rohtak

Out of these Municipal Corporations, the office of Mayor in Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar shall be filled up from the Scheduled Castes women.

Schedule II

Name of 01 Municipal Corporation, where office of Mayor shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Backward Classes 'A' women :-

1. Gurugram

Schedule III

Name of 05 Municipal Corporations, where office of Mayor shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to unreserved category :-

1. Faridabad 2. Hisar 3. Panipat 4. Karnal 5. Manesar Out of these Municipal Corporations, the office of Mayor in the Municipal Corporation, Faridabad shall be filled up from amongst the women.
