संख्या 04/57/2024-4क1.- हरियाणा नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का 16) की धारा 11 की उप-धारा (8) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा हरियाणा सरकार, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग, आदेश संख्या 04/57/2024-4क1 दिनांक 29 दिसम्बर, 2024 के प्रतिनिर्देश से, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, नगर निगम में सदस्यों के निर्वाचन के प्रयोजन के लिए 20 वार्डों में से नगर निगम, करनाल, जिला करनाल की सीटें आबंटित करते हैं, अर्थात्‌ 20 वार्डों में से, 03 वार्ड अर्थात्‌ वार्ड संख्या 01, 06 और 14 अनुसूचित जातियों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों के लिये आरक्षित होंगे, जिनमें से वार्ड संख्या 01 अनुसूचित जाति की महिला से सम्बन्धित सदस्य के लिये आरक्षित होगा। वार्ड संख्या 02 और 07 पिछड़े वर्ग 'क' से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों के लिये आरक्षित होंगे, जिनमें से वार्ड संख्या 02 पिछड़े वर्ग 'क' की महिला से सम्बन्धित सदस्य के लिये आरक्षित होगा। वार्ड संख्या 17 पिछडे़ वर्ग 'ख' से सम्बन्धित सदस्य के लिए आरक्षित होगा, जो पिछडे़ वर्ग 'ख' की महिला से सम्बन्धित सदस्य के लिये आरक्षित होगा। वार्ड संख्या 09, 10, 15 और 16 महिलाओं के लिये आरक्षित होंगे।

No. 04/57/2024-4C1.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (8) of section 11 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) and in reference to the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department, Order No. 04/57/2024-4C1 dated 29th December, 2024, the Governor of Haryana hereby allots the seats of the Municipal Corporation, Karnal, District Karnal amongst 20 wards for the purposes of election of members in the said Municipal Corporation, namely:-

Out of 20 wards, 03 wards viz Ward Numbers 01, 06 and 14 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes, out of which ward number 01 shall be reserved for the member belonging to the Scheduled Castes women. Ward numbers 02 and 07 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Backward Classes 'A', out of which ward number 02 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Backward Classes 'A' women. Ward number 17 shall be reserved for the member belonging to the Backward Classes 'B' and the same shall also be reserved for the member belonging to the Backward Classes 'B' women. Ward numbers 09, 10, 15 and 16 shall be reserved for the women.
