No. Elec-2025/IR-II/PSCE/Hol/2052.— As per letter No. 130 (Paid Holiday)/Other State/Elec-2025/2AE-248 dated 13.01.2025 of Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana the General Election to Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi is scheduled to be held on 05.02.2025 (Wednesday).
And whereas, it is considered necessary to provide opportunity to those who are working in the State of Haryana and enrolled as voter in NCT of Delhi to exercise their franchise.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act 15 of 1958) and all other enabling powers, the Governor of Haryana hereby fixes "Wednesday" the 05.02.2025 to be the holiday with wages for all Shops and Commercial Establishments falling with the jurisdiction of the State of Haryana for only those who are enrolled as voters in the NCT of Delhi to enable them to cast their vote.
