No. 4(34)2025-EA(1).— In supersession of the Haryana Government, Law and Legislative Department Notification No. 4(34)2021-E.A(1), dated the 27th April, 2021 and in pursuance of the Haryana Government, instructions issued vide U.O.No.2/10/97-2GS-I, dated 26th July, 2005 read with instructions issued vide letter No. 2/10/97-2GS-I, dated 1st July, 1997 and No. 2/10/97-2GSI, dated 20th May, 2010, the Governor of Haryana hereby constitutes the Departmental Promotion Committee for the Law and Legislative Department, Haryana consisting of the following members to consider the promotion cases of Group 'A' and 'B' officers:-
1. Legal Remembrancer and Administrative Secretary to Government, Haryana, Chairperson Law and Legislative Department
2. Additional Legal Remembrancer and Special Secretary-I/II to Government, Member Haryana Law and Legislative Department, Haryana
3. Deputy/Under Secretary, Establishment Branch, Law and Legislative
Member Secretary Department, Haryana
The meeting of the committee shall be held within first quarter of each calendar year or as and when required and a list of all the eligible persons for promotion against vacancies likely to arise during the course of the year shall be prepared by it and shall be sent by Legal Remembrancer and Administrative Secretary to Government, Haryana, Law and Legislative Department, for consideration of Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge/ Chief Minister, as the case may be, so that promotion can be made without any loss of time after a vacancy arises.
