The 20th February, 2025
No. 42/05/1997-S(I).— In the schedule of subjects prescribed for the Departmental Examination of Assistant Commissioners, Extra Assistant Commissioners and Candidates for the post of Extra Assistant Commissioners in Haryana vide Notification No. 42/05/1997-S(I) dated 29th April, 2017, published in Haryana Government Gazette dated 3rd November, 2017, syllabus prescribed for Jail Part of Criminal Law paper is hereby replaced with the following new prescribed syllabus for Jail Part Paper:-
1. The Prisons Act, 1984 (Act 9 of 1894).
2. The Prisons Act, 1900 (Act 3 of 1900).
3. Haryana Prison Rules, 2022.
4. Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022.
5. The probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958) and rules framed there under.
6. The Prisoners (Attendance in Courts) Act, 1955 (Act 32 of 1955) and rules framed there under.
7. The Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
8. Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita, 2023, Bhartiya Nagrik Sureksha Sanhita, 2023, Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
and will be applicable for the Departmental Examinations to be conducted after the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
