संख्या 09/08/2026-4क ाा.- चूंकि, हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 (1973 का 24) की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (5) और (7) तथा हरियाणा नगरपालिका निर्वाचन नियम, 1978 के नियम 70क के निबन्धनों के अनुसार महानिदेषक, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा, सम्बन्धित उपायुक्तों अथवा उनके नामनिर्देषितियों से मिलकर बनी समिति ने दिनांक 22 जनवरी, 2026 को महानिदेषक, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा, पंचकूला के कार्यालय में हुई बैठक में जनसंख्या की अधिकतम प्रतिषत्ता के आधार पर और ड्रा ऑफ लॉटस के माध्यम से अवधारित किया है कि निम्नलिखित नगरपालिकाओं के अध्यक्ष पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूची ा तथा ाा में यथा वर्णित क्रमषः अनुसूचित जाति, सामान्य वर्ग तथा महिलाओं से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे।
इसलिए, अब, हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 (1973 का 24) की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (8) के अधीन प्रदत्त षक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा हरियाणा सरकार, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, विभाग अधिसूचना संख्या 18/102/2018-3क1, दिनांक 16 मई, 2018 का आंषिक रूप से उपांतरण करते हुए तथा हरियाणा सरकार, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग अधिसूचना संख्या 18/157/2019-3क1, दिनांक 21 अगस्त, 2019 के अधिक्रमण में, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा विनिर्दिष्ट करते हैं कि निम्नलिखित नगरपालिकाआें में अध्यक्ष के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूची ा तथा ाा में यथावर्णित विभिन्न प्रवर्गों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे, अर्थात् :-
अनुसूची ा
01 नगरपालिका का नाम, जहां अध्यक्ष का पद अनुसूचित जाति से सम्बन्धित महिला सदस्यों में से भरा जाएगा :-
1. रेवाड़ी
अनुसूची ाा
03 नगरपालिकाओं के नाम, जहां अध्यक्ष के पद सामान्य वर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जाएंगे :- 1. धारूहेड़ा 2. सांपला 3. उकलाना

No. 09/08/2026-4CII.— Whereas, in term of sub-section (5) and (7) of section 10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and rule 70A of the Haryana Municipal Elections Rules, 1978 the committee consisting of the Director General , Urban Local Bodies, Haryana and Deputy Commissioners concerned or their nominees in the meeting held on 22nd January, 2026 in the office of Director General, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, Panchkula determined on the basis of maximum percentage of population and through draw of lots that the office of the President of the Municipalities, shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Castes, General category and Women as mentioned below in Schedule I and II respectively.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (8) of section 10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and in partial modification of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department, notification No. 18/102/2018-3C I, dated the 16th May, 2018 and in supersession of Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department, notification No. 18/157/2019-3C I, dated the 21st August, 2019 the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies that the offices of the President in the municipalities shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to various categories as mentioned below in schedule I and II respectively.
Schedule I
Name of 01 Municipality where offices of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Castes Women:-
1. Rewari
Schedule II
Name of 03 Municipalities where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to General Category:-
1. Dharuhera 2. Sampla 3. Uklana
Out of these Municipalities, the office of President of the following Municipality shall be filled up from the Women:-
1. Uklana
