HARYANA SHEHRI VIKAS PRADHIKARAN

No. Pradhikaran-2026/65213.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section-54 of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran Act, 1977 (Act 13 of 1977), all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, with the previous approval of State Government conveyed vide No. 15931 dated 09.02.2026, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran Service Regulations, 1989, Namely:

1. (1) These regulations may be called the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran Services (Amendment) Regulations, 2026.

(2) These rules come into force at once.

2. In the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran Services Regulations, 1989, (hereinafter referred to as the regulations) in APPENDIX 'B' under heading 'ENGINEERING WING' under columns 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and entries there against, the following serial numbers and entries there against shall be substituted, namely:

4	Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil)	(i) Full time Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institute/ University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government and approved by AICTE with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category /	(i) Junior Engineer with diploma in Civil Engineering with 10 years experience as Junior Engineer. OR (ii) 10 years experience as Assistant Draftsman / Head Draftsman Grade-II/Head Draftsman Grade-I. OR (iii) Junior Engineer/ Draftsman with degree in Civil

		other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC Category candidates of Haryana Domicile. (ii) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.	Engineering with five years experience as Junior Engineer after obtaining degree in Civil Engineering. OR (iv) Associate, Membership of Institute of Engineers degree in Civil Engineering with five years experience as Junior Engineer/ Draftsman after obtaining degree in Civil Engineering.
4A	Sub Divisional Engineer (Elect.)	(i) Full time Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering Degree from an Institute/ University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government and approved by AICTE with a minimum 60% mark in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC Category candidates of Haryana Domicile. Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.	(i) Junior Engineer with diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (in case he opted Electrical cadre) with 10 years experience as Junior Engineer. OR (ii) Junior Engineer with degree in electrical or degree in Mechanical (in case he opted electrical cadre) with five years experience as Junior Engineer after obtaining degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical). OR (iii) Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers degree in Electrical Engineering or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers degree in Mechanical engineering (in case he opted electrical cadre) with five years experience as Junior Engineer after obtaining degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical).
