Correction Slip

No. 203 Rules/II.D.4.— dated 03/09/2026

A note is added below sub-rule (i) of Rule 20(1) of Chapter 4, Part F of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Rules and Orders, Volume-V, in the following manner:-

20. (1) Every petition shall consist of paragraphs numbered consecutively and shall contain,—

(i) the name & age, description sufficient for identification and place of residence or business of each person joined as a petitioner or a respondent;

Note: Criminal Writ Petition pertaining to protection of life and liberty shall also

contain present address as well as previous address of the petitioner(s).
