No. IPH(A)(2)B(5)22/99.—On receipt of the request dated NIL from Sh. R.C. Sharma, Executive Engineer, SNP Sub-Division, Badukhar, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh in exercise of powers conferred in her under Rule-32 of the CCS(Leave Rules), 1972, is pleased to sanction extra ordinary leaves for 03 years in his favour with immediate effect for the purpose of seeking employment as Senior General Manager (Civil) with Saiurja Hydel Projects Private Limited, Shimla subject to the following conditions:—

(i) The EOL granted for this purpose shall not qualify for pensionary benefits or any

other service benefits like annual increments etc. No leave/pension contribution

shall be taken on this account, but this shall not entail forfeiture of past service.

Pre EOL service will count as qualifying service alongwith any period of service

rendered after availing EOL.

(ii) He shall be allowed to retain in toto whatever earnings are received by him from

his employer during the course of EOL.

Shimla-2, the 23rd April, 2009

No. PBW-2B(3)52/91.—Whereas Shri K.S. Thakur, Superintending Engineer(Civil), IPH Circle, Chamba has sought voluntary retirement from Govt. service vide his notice dated 05-02-2009 under the provisions of Rule-3(2) of Himachal Pradesh Services (Premature Retirement) Rules, 1976 with the request for curtailment of notice period by five days.

Now therefore, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers vested in her under rule ibid is pleased to accept the request for seeking voluntary retirement from Govt. service given by Shri K.S. Thakur, Superintending Engineer(Civil), IPH Circle, Chamba and pleased to order that Shri K.S. Thakur, Superintending Engineer(Civil) shall retire from Govt. service w.e.f,. 30.04.2009(A.N.). The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to curtail the notice period for voluntary retirement by 05 days.

No. IPH (A)2(B)8-1/2008.—The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, is pleased to confirm the services of Sh. P.C. Thakur, Executive Engineer of Irrigation & Public Health Department, Himachal Pradesh w.e.f. 07-01-2004 against the post of Assistant Engineer i.e. the date from which the services of his junior officers were confirmed.

No. IPH (A)2(B)8-7/2006.—The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, is pleased to order the promotion of Sh Raj Mal Mukul, Executive Engineers(Civil) to the post of Superintending Engineer (Civil) in H.P., Irrigation & Public Health Department, on regular basis, in the pay scale of Rs. 14,300-400-15,900-450-18,600, with immediate effect, in the public interest.

Sh Raj Mal Mukul, Superintending Engineers (Civil) will remain on probation for a period of two years.

No. IPH-A(B)8- 1/2009.—In partial modification of this department's notification of even number dated 01.10.2009, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to regularize the promotion of Sh. Karam Chand, Executive Engineer(Civil) to the post of Executive Engineer(Civil) in H.P., Irrigation & Public Health Department in the pay scale of Rs. 12,000-15,500 with effect from 04.12.2009.

The officer will remain on probation for a period of two years.

For fixation of pay against the post of Executive Engineer (Civil), the officer will have to exercise his option under F.R.22(1) a(i) within a period of one month from the date of issue of this notification.

4. the implementation of decision of the Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh in CWP No. 2597 of 2008 and CWP No. 2275 of 2008 whereby the decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court in case titled "Shailendra Dania V. S.P.Dubey" (20007)5SCC 535 has to be implemented by the State within eight weeks.

This adhoc promotion will not confer any right of seniority on these officers.

C. Thakur, Executive Engineer of Himachal Pradesh, Irrigation & Public Health Department, on completion of 14 years of service as Assistant Engineer and Executive Engineer w.e.f. 20-03-2009. This will however be subject to the prior verification by the audit.
