(AS ASSENTED TO BY THE GOVERNOR ON 24TH MAY, 2011)

further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable
Endowments Act,1984 (Act No.18 of 1984).
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments (Amendment) Act, 2011.
2. Amendment of section 12-A.—In section 12-A of the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1984, (18 of 1984)—
(a) in sub-section (1), in clause (A), in sub-clause (iii), for the figures "70", the figures "20" shall be substituted and thereafter, the following new sub-clause (iv) shall be inserted, namely:—
"(iv) 50% gold shall be converted into gold biscuits or coins and shall be sold to the devotees and pilgrims on the current prevailing market price."; and (b) in sub-section (2), clauses (iv) and (v) shall be omitted.

3333.... धारा 55 का संशोधनधारा 55 का संशोधनधारा 55 का संशोधनधारा 55 का संशोधन....--------मूल अधिनियम की धारा 55 की उपधारा (2) के पश्चात्् निम्नलिखित अन्तःस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्ः-
''परन्तु यदि कोई व्यक्ति इस अधिनियम के अधीन, दो से अधिक बार अपराध करता है, तो उसका शमन नहीं किया जाएगा।
(3) इस अधिनियम में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, उपधारा(1) के अधीन शमन के पश्चात् भी यदि व्यक्तिक्रम जारी रहता है, तो विहित प्राधिकारी या राज्य सरकार द्वारा प्राधिकृत कोई व्यक्ति, स्थानीय पुलिस की सहायता प्राप्त करके परिसर को सील कर सकेगा या सम्बद्ध प्राधिकारी को पर्यटन इकाई का पानी और बिजली का कनेक्शन काटने के लिए लिखित में आदेश पारित करेगा तथा ऐसा प्राधिकारी, ऐसे आदेशों की अनुपालना करने के लिए आबद्ध होगा और अनुपालना की रिपोर्ट विहित प्राधिकारी को देगा''।902 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 27 मई, 2011/6 ज्येष्ठ, 1933 AUTHORITATIVE ENGLISH TEXT

(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002
(Act No.15 of 2002).
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty second Year of the Republic of India as Follows:—
1. Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration (Amendment) Act, 2011.
2. Amendment of section 32.—In section 32 of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002, in sub- section (1), for the word "notify", the word "fix" shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of section 55.—In section 55 of the principal Act, after sub section(2), the following shall be inserted, namely;-
"Provided that if a person commits an offence under this Act for more than two times, the same shall not be compounded."
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, if the default continues after composition under sub section (1), the prescribed authority or the person authorized by the State Government may seal the premises by requisitioning the help of the local police or shall pass orders, in writing to disconnect the water and electricity connection of the tourism unit, to the authority concerned and such authority shall be bound to comply with such orders and shall report compliance to the prescribed authority."राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 27 मई, 2011/6 ज्येष्ठ, 1933 903
