No. HPVS/Estt./2013.—WHEREAS, Shri Balbir Tegta, IAS, Secretary, H. P. Vidhan Sabha is superannuating on 30th June, 2013 and the post of Secretary, Vidhan Sabha will fall vacant; and
WHEREAS, in the absence of Secretary, the day-to-day functioning of H. P. Vidhan Sabha Secretariat cannot run; and
WHEREAS, in the past, the powers of Secretary had been delegated by the SPEAKER from time to time to the officer who had sufficient experience in the working of Legislature; and 70-राजपत्र/2013-1-07-2013 (1783)1784 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 1 जुलाई, 2013/10 आषाढ़ 1935 THEREFORE, to discharge the smooth functioning of H. P. Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Speaker, H.P. Vidhan Sabha, hereby under Article-187 of the Constitution of India, read with Rule- 14 of the (Recruitment and conditions of service) Rules, 1974 of H. P. Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, delegates the powers of Secretary, Vidhan Sabha to Shri Sunder Singh Verma (Gazetted Class-I), Editor of Debates, who is senior-most officer in the Secretariat and has sufficient Legislative experience, as a stop-gap arrangement, till further orders.
This order will come into effect w.e.f. 1st July, 2013.

P. as Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Dharamshala for a period of two years or upto attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
