No. 1-255/74-Fin (LA) Vol-8-4529.— On the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to promote Shri Gian Chand Sharma, Section Officer of Local Audit Department, Himachal Pradesh (Class-II-Gazetted) presently working in the Pay Band of Rs. 10300+34800+ `5000 Grade Pay to the post of Assistant Controller (Class-I-Gazetted) in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100+5400 Grade Pay with immediate effect.

Consequent upon the above promotion, Headquarter of Sh. Gian Chand Sharma shall remain at Shimla and he will guide audit parties deployed for conducting the audit of HIMUDA and Municipal Corporation Shimla as well as accomplish other tasks relating to audit as assigned to him from time to time by the authorities.

The above officer may submit his option for fixation of pay under Rule F.R.22 (I) (a) (i) within one month from the date of issue of this notification.

He will remain on probation for a period of two years.
