No. Shram (A) 4-12/10-BOCW.—In exercise of powers vested under Section-4 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment & Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to constitute the State Building & Other Construction Workers Advisory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the State Advisory 15-राजपत्र/2015-24-04-2015 (453) 454 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 24 अप्रैल, 2015/4 वैशाख, 1937 Committee) to advise the State Government on such matters arising out of the administration of this Act as may be referred to it. The Committee shall consist of the following:—

(a) A Chairperson to be appointed by the State Government

1. Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, Hon'ble Industries, Labour & Employment Minister, H.P. Chairperson.

(b) Two members of the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh.

1. Shri Manohar Dhiman, MLA, Vill. Changrara, P.O. Bhpu, Tehsil Indora, Distt. Kangra, H.P. Member.

2. Shri Kirnesh Jung, MLA Vill. Ganguwala, P.O.& Tehsil Paonta Sahib, Distt. Sirmour, H.P. Member.

(c) A member to be nominated by the Central Government Official Member.

(d) The Chief Inspector of inspections of Building & Other Official Member. Construction, Himachal Pradesh.

(e) The Chief Inspector of Factories, Himachal Pradesh. 1 (d& e) The Labour Commissioner, Himachal Pradesh. Member ex- Officio.

(f) Three members representing employers.

1. The Engineer- in-Chief, Public Works Department, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002. Non-Official Member.

The Head Quarter of the State Building & Other Construction Workers Advisory Committee will be at Shimla. The term of office of the Chairman and the Members of the Committee other than the Official Members shall be three years from the date of issue of this notification.
