No. SML-PSH (24)/89- Office of the Collector, Shimla District, Shimla (H.P.).

Dated Shimla-1, the th December, 2015.

To Bhai Manvir Singh S/o Sh. Narinder Singh, R/o Kirtanpuri, Kaithu-Shimla-3.

7420 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 06 फरवरी, 2016/17 माघ, 1937 Subject: Review of cancellation orders of Money Lender Licence No 1/2003 conveyed vide No SML-PSH(24)/89-458 dated 25.7.2012.

This is with reference to your review application dated 14.8.2012 filed under section 7 of the HP Registration of Money Landers' Act, 1976 against the orders dated 25.7.2012.

Since, there are many financial institutions in the market which are providing credit facilities to the public at competitive interest rate & in very short time, These institutions are being regulated by the RBI/Government. In the present scenario, there is no need to encourage money lenders and this office has already recommended to the govt. that there seems no justification of the H.P. Registration of Money Lenders Act, 1976 in the present context.

Keeping in view the above facts, your review application is considered and rejected.
