No. Ind-A(B)2-5/2010.— The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, is pleased to offer appointment to Sh. Gagan Deep Singh S/o Sh. Jatinder Pal Singh, Vill. Lohna, Bundla Tea Estate, Palampur, Distt. Terms & Conditions:—

1. The appointment will be made on contract basis initially for one year, which may be extendable on year to year basis.

2. The contract appointee will be paid consolidated fixed amount @ `16,600/- per month (in the pay band of Rs. 10300-34800+ 4200 Grade Pay). The amount shall be equal to initial of the Pay Band + Grade Pay+50% of Grade Pay. An increment @ 3% on consolidated contractual amount will be allowed if contract is extended on year to year basis. No amount will be paid for absence period.

3. The service of the contract employee will be purely on temporary basis. The appointment is liable to be terminated in case the performance/conduct of the contract appointee is not found satisfactory.

4. The private practice of any kind, whatsoever, is strictly prohibited.

5. The contract appointee shall not confer any right to incumbent for the regularization in service at any stage.

6. The contract appointee will be entitled for one day casual leave after putting one month service. However, the contract employee will also be entitled for 10 days medical leave and 5 days special leave. He shall not be entitled for Medical Reimbursement & LTC etc. No leave of any other kind except above is admissible to the contract appointee.

Provided that he shall submit the certificate of illness/fitness issued by the Medical officer, as per prevailing instructions of the Government.

Provided that the un-availed Casual Leave, Special Leave and Medical Leave can be accumulated upto the calendar year and will not be carried forward for the next calendar year.

7. Un-authorized absence from duty without the approval of the Controlling Officer shall automatically lead to the termination of the contract. The contract appointee shall not be entitled for contractual amount for this period of absence from duty.

8. An Officer appointed on contract basis who have completed three years tenure at one place of posting will be eligible for transfer on need based basis wherever required on administrative grounds.

9. The Contract appointee will be entitled to TA/DA, if required to go on tour in connection with his official duties at the same rate as applicable to regular counterpart officers at the minimum of Pay scale.

10. Provisions of service rules like FR SR, Leave Rules, GPF Rules, Pension Rules & Conduct rules etc. as are applicable in case of regular employees will not be applicable in case of contract appointee.

11. He will sign an agreement to be executed between the Contract Appointee and the Government of Himachal Pradesh before joining his duty in the Department of Industries.

The candidate will furnish written acceptance of appointment offered to her immediately on receipt of the appointment orders to the Principal Secretary (Industries) to the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2; failing which the offer of appointment will be treated as cancelled.

In case of acceptance of appointment, he will submit her joining report in the office of Section Officer, Industries-A, Room No. 215, Armsdale Building, H.P. Secretariat, Shimla, Ph. No.0177-2880436, within 15 days positively. He is also directed to bring the original testimonials, certificates etc. for checking and verification.
