No. UD-A(3)-4/2011.—In continuation of this Department's Notification No. LSG-A (3)- 21/84 dated 5.1.1989, 6.7.1989 and 9.5.1991 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Himachal Pradesh Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1985 (12 of 1985), The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to appoint 10th day of July, 2017 as a date when the provisions of the said Act shall come into force in the following areas, namely:—

1. All the Municipal Corporations constituted under the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (12 of 1994);

2. All the Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats constituted under the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 1994 (13 of 1994); and

3. All the Gram Panchayats constituted under the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (4 of 1994).
