(i) To fix at least 500 cases of summary trials under the Motor Vehicles Act at least twice in a week on the date of holding of Courts.
(ii) To conduct spot trials at various places where the movement of traffic is on higher side and check/inspect about 400 vehicles during one traffic spot inspection and shall conduct two such inspections in a week.
(iii) To submit their work done statement every month to the High Court.
(iv) The District and Sessions Judges concerned may assign any urgent work to the Mobile Traffic Magistrates.

No. FFE-B-F(14)-206/2014.—Whereas the nature and extent of the rights of the Government and of private persons in or over the Forest Land/ Waste Land specified in the schedule inserted to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded as required under Sub- Section (3) of Section-29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927);
And whereas the Forest Land/ Waste Land shown in the said schedule is the property of the Government or over which the Government has proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to the whole or any part of the Forest Produce therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- Section (1) of Section-29 of the Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the provisions of Chapter-IV of the Act shall apply to the said Forest Land/ Waste Land and shall hereafter be called as "Protected Forests" under the provisions of Sub-Section (2) of Section-29 of the Act ibid.
