INFORMATION & PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION

Shimla-2, 21st March, 2018

No. Pub-B(1)-1/2018.—In continuation of this department notification of even number dated 12-03-2018, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to fix emoluments and other terms and conditions for the post of Media Advisor (Chief Minister) as under:—

1. He will be entitled to the fixed emolument of ` 1,44,200/- per month.

2. The appointment of Media Advisor (Chief Minister) shall be on co-terminus basis with the term of present Government.

Provided that Government can terminate his appointment even prior to the co- terminus periods at any time, at its own discretion.

3. He will be entitled to semi furnished Government accommodation or he will be entitled for the House Rent @ ` 7200/- per month in case he is not provided the accommodation by the Government. If he ceases to be the Media Advisor (Chief Minister) or his services are no longer required by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, he will vacate the accommodation within 15 days of such notification. Furniture charges will not be admissible in case he is receiving house rent allowance in lieu of Government accommodation.

4. The actual expenditure of electricity and water charges of the provided accommodation will be borne by the Government.

5. He shall be entitled for daily allowance @ ` 200/- per day while on tour.

6. He will be provided a car/vehicle by the Government and its expenditure will be borne by the Government or vehicle allowance to the tune of ` 2000/- per month will provided in place of vehicle facility.

7. He will be entitled for road mileage allowance @ ` 8.00 per KM (hilly and plain area) while on tour in his own vehicle.

8. The telephone facility will be provided to him in his office by the Government. An amount of ` 3800/- bi monthly will be given to him for the expenditure on residential telephone/mobile used by him.

10. He will be entitled to one casual leave for each completed month.

11. He will be eligible to countersign his TA/DA bills and for his tour programme, he himself will be the Controlling Officer.

This issues with the prior concurrence of the Finance Department obtained vide their U.O No. Fin(C)-B(15)-15/2010-L-54255874 dated 21-03-2018.

No. LLR-E(9)-1/2018.—In partial modification of this Department's Notification of even number dated 17th March, 2018, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order that Sh. J. S. Attri, Senior Advocate, will represent the State of Himachal Pradesh in Original Suit No. 2 of 1996 and all other Original Suits relating to the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966 and any other case relating to Civil Suit No. 2 of 1996, in the Supreme Court of India on the terms and conditions of fee as contained in the Notification No. LLR-E(9)2/2012, dated 30th April, 2013, with immediate effect.

2. This engagement is purely at the pleasure of the State Government and can be withdrawn at any stage without assigning any reasons thereof.

3. All the Departments are requested that whenever they need the services of above Advocate with respect to Civil Suit No. 2 of 1996, they may engage above Advocate with the prior approval of the Law Department and in consultation with the Advocate General, Himachal Pradesh.
