No. Ind-II(F)6-20/2018.—Whereas an area is available for auction of Lime Stone deposit namely BROH-SHIND LIMESTONE DEPOSIT, Teshil Churah, Distt. Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, under the provisions of Section 10(B) (3) of Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 as amended from time to time and Rules made thereunder.
Now the Governor of Himachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sub-section (3) of Section 10(B) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957 is pleased to notify the Broh-Shind Limestone Deposit, Tehsil Churah, Distt. Chamba for inviting the applications for the allotment by e-auction of the Broh-Shind limestone block from the interested person(s) for the grant of mining lease and also to notify that all the applications which had been received prior to the date of publication of this notification in respect of the land, within this area, which had not been disposed off, shall be deemed to have been ineligible as per the sub- section 1 of the Section 10(A) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. The applications so received shall be disposed of keeping in view the condition of employment of Himachalis as prescribed in the Industrial Policy Guidelines-2004 as amended from time to time and the conditions specified in other applicable laws for the time being in force.
