PBW(B) B (1)/2018.—The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order the setting up of Special Land Acquisition Units (SLAUs) at District level where the Highways would be constructed and Monitoring unit at the State Headquarters in the office of Engineer-in-Chief (Projects) and Chief Engineer (National Highway), HPPWD for a period of one years for acquisition of land within his/her jurisdiction to expedite the acquisition of land for National Highway & four lanning projects of the MoRT&H in the State of Himachal Pradesh. The following staff shall be engaged in each SLAUs by way of re-employment amongst from personnel/ outsources basis, especially staff with revenue background as under:—

The concerned Executive Engineers shall be declared as DDOs for these SLAUs. The remuneration for the above staff so engaged, shall be met out of 2.5% administrative and8993 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 08 मार्च, 2019/17 फाल्गुन, 1940 contingency charges levied on all land acquisitions undertaken by State Government on behalf of Government of India and will be as under:—

(i) HAS Officer, Tehsildar & Naib Tehsildar last pay drawn less pension as per the provisions contained in H.P. State Civil Services (fixation of Pay of re-employed persons) orders 1988 circulated by the Finance Department vide OM No. Fin (C)-B(7)- 10/84, dated 1-12-1998 and as amended from time to time read with OM No. Fin (C)- B(7)-13/2009 dated 19-4-2010.

(ii) Kanungo and Patwari.—On fixed emoluments of Rs. 22,500/- PM.

(iii) Computer Assistant/Operator (outsource) and Office boy.—On fixed emoluments of Rs. 10,000/- & Rs. 8,000/- PM respectively.

NOTIFICATION NO. 2/2019-STATE TAX (RATE)

Shimla-2, the 7th March, 2019

No. EXN-F(10)-5/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9, sub- section (1) of section 11, sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (10 of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of the Council, and on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, is pleased to notify that the State Tax, on the intra-State supply of goods or services or both as specified in column (1) of the Table below, shall be levied at the rate specified in the corresponding entry in column (2), subject to the conditions as specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said table below, namely:—

2. In computing aggregate turnover in order to determine eligibility of a registered person to pay state tax at the rate of three percent under this notification, value of supply of exempt services by way of extending deposits, loans or advances in so far as the consideration is represented by way of interest or discount, shall not be taken into account.

3. Explanation. —For the purpose of this notification, -

(i) "tariff item", "sub-heading", "heading" and "chapter" shall mean respectively a tariff item, sub-heading, heading and chapters specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975).

(ii) the rules for the interpretation of the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), including the Section and Chapter Notes and the General Explanatory Notes of the First Schedule shall, so far as may be, apply to the interpretation of this notification.

4. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2019.

Shimla-2 the 07th March, 2019

No . EXN-F(10)-5/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (10 of 2017) (hereafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of the Council, is pleased to specify the following category of persons, as the category of persons exempt from obtaining registration under the said Act, namely,—

Any person, who is engaged in exclusive supply of goods and whose aggregate turnover in the financial year does not exceed forty lakh rupees, except, -

(a) persons required to take compulsory registration under section 24 of the said Act; (b) persons engaged in making supplies of the goods, the description of which is specified in column (3) of the Table below and falling under the tariff item, sub-heading, heading or Chapter, as the case may be, as specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table;

(iii) persons engaged in making intra-State supplies in the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand; and9000 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 08 मार्च, 2019/17 फाल्गुन, 1940 (iv) persons exercising option under the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 25, or such registered persons who intend to continue with their registration under the said Act.
