No. FFE-B-F(14)-229/2014.—Whereas the nature and extent of the rights of the Government and of Private Persons in or over the Forest Land/Waste Land specified in the schedule inserted to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded as required under sub-8290 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 30 नवम्बर, 2019/09 मार्गशीर्ष, 1941 section (3) of section-29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927); And whereas the Forest Land/Waste Land shown in the said schedule is the property of the Government or over which the Government has Proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to the whole or any part of the Forest Produce therein;

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the Provisions of Chapter-IV of the Act shall apply to the said Forest Land/Waste Land and shall hereafter be called as "Protected Forests" under the provisions of sub-section (2) of Section-29 of the Act ibid.

1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ.--(1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम दी बिजनैस ऑफ दी गवर्नमैंट ऑफ हिमाचल प्रदेश (एलोकेशन) रूल्ज, 1971 (158वां संशोधन) नियम, 2019 है।

(2) ये नियम राजपत्र, (ई-गजट), हिमाचल प्रदेश में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे। 2. अनुसूची का संशोधन.--दी बिजनैस ऑफ दी गवर्नमैंट ऑफ हिमाचल प्रदेश (एलोकेशन) रूल्ज, 1971 से संलग्न अनुसूची की क्रम संख्या 7 में, शीर्षक "FINANCE DEPARTMENT" के उप-शीर्षक "(b) Local Audit" के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थातः-

No. GAD(CC)5-2/71.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 166 of the Constitution of India, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Business of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1971 notified vide notification No. 5-2/71-GAD(CC)-dated 25th January, 1971, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Business of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1971 (158th Amendment) Rules, 2019.

(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajpatra (e-Gazette), Himachal Pradesh.

2. Amendment of SCHEDULE.—In SCHEDULE appended to the Business of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1971, in Sl. No. 7, for sub-heading "Local Audit" of heading "FINANCE DEPARTMENT", the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"(b) HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE AUDIT DEPARTMENT.".
