No.Tpt-B(2)-6/2019.—On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order the promotions of the following Superintendent Grade-II (Class-II-Non-Gazetted) to the post of Regional Transport Officer 203—राजपत्र/2022-03-02-2022 (7429)7430 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 3 फरवरी, 2022/14 माघ, 1943 (Class-I-Gazetted), in the pay band of Rs.15600—39100 + 5400/- Grade Pay (Pre-Revised) on regular/officiating basis, with immediate effect:—

2. The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to order postings of above newly promoted Regional Transport Officers to the place shown against their name, as under:—

3. The Officers at Sr. No. 1, 2 and 3 will remain on probation for a period of two years from their date of joining and will also be entitled to exercise an option for fixation of pay under the provision of F.R.-22 within a period of one month from the date of issue of this order.

4. The above Regional Transport Officers are directed to report on duty at their place of posting immediately and submit joining report to this department as well as to the Director, Transport (H.P.) within 10 days failing which promotion orders shall stand withdrawn automatically.

No. GAD-B-(A)1-8/2021.—WHEREAS, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is of the opinion that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest to do so, that a new Sub-Division (Civil) to be known as Sub-Division (Civil) Kupvi in District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh may be created by excluding the entire area of Tehsil Kupvi having 7 Patwar Circles of Sub-Division (Civil) Chopal to provide better services to the concerned people of nearby villages and to avoid inconvenience being faced by them and to have better administrative control.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Himachal Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1954 (Act No. 6 of 1954) and Section 5 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act No. 16 of 1908) read with sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, in consultation with the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to exclude the entire area of 7 Patwar Circles of Tehsil Kupvi of Sub-Division (Civil) Chopal and to create a new Sub-Division (Civil) Kupvi with its headquarter at Kupvi in District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, which shall consist of the following Patwar Circles with immediate effect :—

भारत गणराज्य के तिहत्तरवें वर्ष में हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल द्वारा प्रख्यापित

हिमाचल प्रदेश नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का अधिनियम संख्यांक 13) का और संशोधन करने के लिए अध्यादेश।

हिमाचल प्रदेश विधान सभा सत्र में नहीं है और हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल का यह समाधान हो गया है कि ऐसी परिस्थितियाँ विद्यमान हैं जिनके कारण उनके लिए तुरन्त कार्रवाई करना आवश्यक हो गया है;

अतः हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल, भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 213 के खण्ड (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित अध्यादेश प्रख्यापित करते हैंः--

1. संक्षिप्त नाम.--इस अध्यादेश का संक्षिप्त नाम हिमाचल प्रदेश नगर निगम (संशोधन) अध्यादेश, 2022 है।

2. धारा 6 का संशोधन.--हिमाचल प्रदेश नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 की धारा 6 के खण्ड (क) के परन्तुक में, ''सैंतीस'' शब्द के स्थान पर ''इकतालीस'' शब्द रखा जाएगा।

H.P. ORDINANCE NO. 1 of 2022 THE HIMACHAL PRADESH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2022

Promulgated by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh in the Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India.

AN ORDINANCE further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (Act No. 13 of 1994).

WHEREAS, the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh is not in session and the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him take immediate action;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause(1) of Article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to promulgate the following Ordinance:—

1. Short title.—This Ordinance may be called the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 2022.

2. Amendment of section 6.—In Section 6 of Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, in clause (a), in the proviso, for the words "thirty seven", the words "forty one" shall be substituted.
