No. Pub-B(1)-1/2020.—The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order creation of one post of Media Co-ordinator in Information and Public Relations Department, H.P. for New Delhi.

2. This post of Media Coordinator shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:

1. He/She will be entitled to the fixed emolument of `90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand) per month.

2. The appointment of Media Coordinator shall be on co-terminus basis with the term of present Government.

Provided that Government can terminate his/her appointment even prior to the co- terminus periods at any time, at its own discretion.

3. He/She shall be entitled for daily allowance @ `200/- per day while on tour.

4. He/She will be entitled for road mileage allowance @ `8.00 per KM (hilly and plain area) while on tour in his/her own vehicle.

5. The telephone facility will be provided to him/her in his/her office by the Government. An amount of ` 3000/- bi-monthly will be given to him/her for the expenditure on residential telephone/mobile used by him/her.

6. He/She shall be entitled for medical re-imbursement as per actual claim.

7. He/She will be entitled to one casual leave for each completed month.

8. He/She will be eligible to countersign his/her TA/DA bills and for his/her tour programme, he/she himself will be the Controlling Officer.

District Level Committee will convergence the various activities between Stakeholder Departments and monitor the progress of "Jal Shakti Abhiyan–Catch the Rain-2022" (JSA-CTR- 2022) through under mentioned activities :—

(i) Intensive implementation of prescribed interventions of the campaign.

(ii) Funds to be used from MGNREGS, 15th FC, CAMPA, State Govt.s', locally mobilized funds etc.

(iii) Setting up and activating Jal Shakti Kendras in each District.

(iv) Ensuring that all water bodies are identified, their GIS mapping, geo-tagging, and entered into Revenue Records; also Rejuvenation of traditional water bodies in both Urban and Rural areas.

(v) Preparation of Scientific water conservation plans in each District. Ensure that volunteers of RD, NYKs or Officers from the Jal Shakti Vibhag to assist in preparation of village specific plans.

(vi) The Principal of reuse, recycle, and recharge of water would be inherent to the Abhiyan and the management of used or waste water especially greywater would also be part of the Campaign.

(vii) Mapping springs and spring shed wherever appropriate, and spring shed rejuvenation and management.

(viii) Roof Top Rain Water Harvesting Structures (RTRWHS) shall be built on Government buildings and other Rain Water Harvesting Structures in premises of all schools, colleges, universities, other educational and technical institutions, PHCs and Anganwadis etc.

(ix) Rejuvenation of small rivers.

(x) Community mobilization through NYKS, KVKs, NGOs and PRIs shall be undertaken.

(xi) Intensive publicity of the campaign through IEC activities shall also be carried out.

(xii) Catchment area treatment (afforestation etc.).

(xiii) Convergence of JSA-CTR-2022 activities with the celebration of 75 years if Independence.

(xiv) Use of defunct/unused borewells to recharge aquifers.

through Nehru Yuva Kendra's officials and youth-volunteers.

State, District, Block, MC, Nagar Parishad, Nagar Panchayat level Nodal Officers, for monitoring the progress to JSA-CTR-2022 activities have already been notified vide this Department Notification No.IPH-B(F)6-2/2019-I dated 29-03-2022. The meeting of District Level Committee will be held every month and minutes containing its suggestions/recommendations will be forwarded to the Member Secretary (Engineer-in-Chief, Jal Shakti Vibhag) of the State Level Committee, so that the same could be discussed and monitored at the State Level.

State and District Level Committees Notified vide Notification No.JSV-B(F)2-2/2021 dated 22-04-2021 are hereby dissolved.

(ii) Member Secretary thus compile the progress report of each Departmental activities for further submission to the District Level Committee.

(iii) Deciding and undertaking activities to encourage people from different walks of life to participate in the Abhiyan.

(iv) IEC (Information, Education and Communication) for encouraging construction of Roof Top Rain Water Harvesting Structures in Government buildings and monitoring the same.

State, District, Block, MC, Nagar Parishad, Nagar Panchayat level Nodal Officers, for monitoring the progress to JSA-CTR-2022 activities have already been notified vide this Department Notification No. IPH-B(F)6-2/2019-I dated 29-03-2022.
