The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to order the creation of 01 (ONE) post of Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology Cell under the Department of Radiotherapy at IGMC Shimla in the pay scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000+Grade Pay of Rs. 8,900 (Pre-revised), with immediate effect, in the public interest.

The newly created posts of faculty members in the above newly/already created Superspecialty Cell shall be filled up as per provisions of R&P rules. This issues with the prior concurrence of Finance Department obtained vide UO No. 55572280-Fin-F-(A)1-3/2018, dated 09-05-2022.

No. HFW-B(F)1-2/2021.—In continuation and partial modification to this Department notification No. HFW-B(B)15-22/2013 dated, 25-09-2014 as amended from time to time vide which "Time Bound designation (upgradation) Scheme 2014" was notified, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order amendment of "Time Bound designation (upgradation) Scheme, 2014" with immediate effect , in the public interest as under:—

Clause (2), In Medical Colleges (i) & (ii) and Sub-clause (4) of Clause 3 of the "Time

Bound Designation (Upgradation) Scheme, 2014" shall be replaced as under:—

2. Designation under "Time Bound Designation Scheme".—All the faculty members of the Medical Education Department working in the Government Medical Colleges, standalone Superspecialty Medical Institute, shall be granted designation to the next higher post subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria prescribed under these R&P Rules except for length of service for next higher post under the "Time Bound Designation (Upgradation) Scheme", hereinafter referred as the TBDS, as under:—

(1) In Medical Colleges:

(i) A regular Assistant Professor shall be eligible for designation as Assistant Professor after 04 years of regular service as Assistant Professor in the Government Medical Colleges of the State on the basis of "Fitness and Suitability Certificate" issued by the Principal of the Government Medical College/ Super Specialty Institute concerned.

5512 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 07 अक्तूबर, 2022/15 आश्विन, 1944 (ii) A regular Associate Professor shall be eligible for designation as a Professor after 03 years of regular service as Associate Professor in the Medical Colleges of the State on the basis of "Fitness and Suitability Certificate" issued by the Principal of the Government Medical College/Super Specialty Medical Institute concerned.

(2) In Dental College.—Terms and conditions for the faculties of Himachal Pradesh Government Dental College, Shimla shall remain unchanged.

3. Other terms and conditions shall remain unchanged of the Clause-3 except sub-

clause (4); and sub-clause (4) shall be replaced as under:—

(4) For the purpose of this scheme, regular service means and includes service by a Government servant on the appointment/ promotion after regular selection in accordance with the provisions contained in the relevant Recruitment & Promotion Rules for that post. The period of experience acquired on designated post in Government Medical Colleges, Superspecialty Medical institution or Dental Colleges shall also be counted for the purpose of determining eligibility for designation to higher posts under this scheme, except for those doctors who are temporary, contract or GDOs designated as Assistant Professor.
