CHAPTER-I,

Practice in the trial of Criminal Cases

PART-C

(i) Attendance of Accused Persons

After the words, empanelled by High Court and before the full stop in paragraph 4-A II, 'Service of Summons through Electronic Mode', following special character and words shall be added :—

'', as well as by electronic means through National Service and Tracking of Electronic

Processes (NSTEP) Application or any other application that may be developed by the

e-Courts Committee of the Apex Court and followed by the High Court''

After the amendment the Paragraph 4-A II shall read as under:—

"To ensure the service of witnesses particularly the police officials, a data base of the official email IDs and Cell Numbers, shall be maintained and used to effect their service by email or SMS wherever required, in addition to the mode of service provided under the Code of Criminal Procedure. As an alternative mode but in addition to the mode of service provided under the Code of Criminal Procedure, the service of witnesses shall also be effected through couriers empanelled by High Court, as well as by electronic means through National Service and Tracking of Electronic Processes (NSTEP) Application or any other application that may be developed by the e-Courts Committee of the Apex Court and followed by the High Court."

Registration of death entry :

Whereas applicant Sh. Suresh Kumar s/o Sh. Parma Ram, r/o Village Danger, P.O. Bhaderwar, Sub-Tehsil Bhadrota, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi (H.P.) had moved an application before the Ld. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Lahaul at Keylong, District Lahaul and Spiti, H.P. alleging therein that his son namely Rocky was posted as casual pay labour(CPL) in GREF, 94RCC, Lahaul and on 27-07-2021 he was engaged in road clearance work at Tozing Nallaha where he was washed away in the cloud burst/flash flood. Rocky has been missing since then and the body of his son has not been recovered despite long search and rescue operation by the administration, police and NDRF and consequently the applicant has no hope of finding his son alive and apprehended death of his son and he wants his son to be presumed dead and requested for the death registration of his son.

The Ld. SDM Lahaul at Keylong vide their order No. 649/Reader, dated 09-12-2022 has granted provisional presumption of death on dated 27-07-2021 and has further requested to this office to make publication in the newspaper, government gazette and government website for the purpose of claims and objection in this regard. Hence, this proclamation is hereby issued for the information of general public that if any person has any objection for the registration of above death event can appear in this court on 20-01-2023 on either personally or through an authorized agent faling which Rocky s/o Sh. The appointment of Sh. Ram Dass Dhiman as State Chief Information Commissioner shall be for a term of three years from the date on which he enters upon his office or the date on which he attains the age of 65 (sixty five) years, whichever is earlier.
